A revit file can have multiple site locations, in the case that you may link an identical building into a site with different locations. In the few cases where I have had to do this (usually a hard tender with only dwf's available for security reasons) the SAT seems to retain location data, so additional revit geometry will be located correctly when exported to have had some serious issues with locating models correctly and am at my wits end. In the Export group, click on the Navisworks button. Save central files can be exported as new detached Revit files.
